Covid-19: What We’re Doing to Keep You Safe

Your safety is our priority.

Your safety, privacy, and comfort have always been our primary concerns. But right now, safety takes priority, and we have responded to global current events by adding a few new steps, in addition to our regular cleaning and sanitizing precautions.

We have always maintained high standards of sanitation, including requirements such as regular hand-washing for therapists, disinfecting tables and face-cradles between sessions, and never re-using linens or tools, etc, without going through proper cleaning procedures.

But there are a few “new” additions that we’ve been practicing for the past few months, and we thought it was about time we posted about it, to make sure that everyone - not just those who have inquired, can stay informed too.
  1. Temperature checks. Anything over 100.4 degrees is considered a temperature, as per CDC guidelines. Clients with temperatures will not be able to receive a massage, and therapists will not be able to work until cleared.
  2. Extra time between clients. We have 30 minutes of space between each client, which is just enough to execute our new cleaning procedures. We are asking that you come in for your massage no more than 10 minutes early, to ensure that we have the time we need, and, that clients don’t end up running into each other. The less contact the better!
  3. Accessible disinfectants. Hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and a full sink with antimicrobial hand soap and disposable paper towels are available for your use. We have added options to each room, so that no matter where you are, you always have access.
  4. True HEPA air filtration. Our HEPA filters used to be an as-needed option, but are now in full use for each and every client, for your respiratory health and comfort.
  5. Sanitization, sanitization, sanitization. Between each client, we clean and disinfect every single touched, or potentially-touched surface. This includes, but is not limited to, doorknobs, chairs, massage tables and face cradles, tables and countertops.
  6. Clean linens. As always, linens are never reused, and stored in a lidded receptacle until cleaned. So you can count on a fresh, clean set, every time.
  7. Personal protective equipment. In addition to regular hand-washing, all therapists and employees will be masked for your protection.
  8. Acrylic guards. We have added acrylic shields to the check-out area.
  9. No Walk-Ins. Sessions are by-appointment only, another way to limit accidental run-ins between clients.
  10. Covid-safe checkout. We now have the ability to do credit check-out, touch free. After swiping or dipping your card, we can simply text you the check-out link, allowing you to tip and sign safely from your own phone.

We hope this update will allow you to make an informed decision about what is best for you during this difficult time. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions, please let us know, we are always looking for ways to better serve you.

Stay safe!
